In the age of digital photography, companies like Kodak are desperately searching for new ideas to make a quick buck. Recently Kodak announced a new "premium" photo concept called Pynk.

This is actually an ingenious idea. A consumer would choose a Kodak Pynk photoframe. Then when printing your photos at one of those yellow Kodak photo printing machines, you would scan the photoframe and the device would know exactly how to scale and position the printed pictures so that they align perfectly with the picture holes in the frame.

Some of the frames:

Kodak is currently testing this in select US markets but plans to expand its worldwide at every Kodak printing station. In Canada this means you would get this done at Wal-Mart.
